Weekly News

Welcome to 2017—and a very happy New Year to you all.

I mentioned at the beginning of the year that I will be using Nicky and Pippa Gumbel’s reading the Bible through the year in 2017 and having enjoyed it for the past couple of weeks wanted to recommend if to you.

The approach is based on reading small sections from the Psalms, OT and NT each day and each reading is accompanied by a few thoughts from Nicky Gumbel.

It’s really good and I know of a few people who are enjoying it—so if you are looking to engage with the scriptures this year its worth taking a look at it. You can start the programme at any time. You will be able to find it in the app store or ask me for more details.
