Our Code of Conduct

This code of conduct is applicable to the registered companies of Hope Church, Hope Café and Hope shops along with its employees, volunteers, Leaders and Trustees and any other associated personnel. For simplicity and ease of reading, we refer to the afforementioned as “Hope Church”, “we”, “us” or “our” within this policy.

Code of Conduct for our buildings

All staff, volunteers and visitors to the our premises should be able to be here without fear of violence, abuse or harassment from any individual. Accordingly, we would like to bring to your
attention the Hope Church Code of Conduct, which is for the safety and wellbeing of all users. The following behaviours are considered unacceptable and may result in removal from our premises:

  • Shouting at members of staff or other users
  • Physically intimidating members of staff or other users
  • Any other threatening behaviour, either physical or verbal
  • Racist, sexist or otherwise abusive comments
  • Being drunk and disorderly
  • Being in the possession of illegal substances
  • Being in the possession of offensive weapons
  • Damaging, removing or misusing any part of our premises, its furnishing, fixtures, fittings, decoration or equipment
  • Not responding to the fire alarm and not keeping all fire exits clear.
